Course overview

This traineeship reflects the role of entry level community services workers who support individuals through the provision of person-centred services.

Work may include day-to-day support of individuals in community settings or support the implementation of specific community-based programs.

At this level, work takes place under the direction of others and supervision may be direct or indirect.

Work may take place in a range of community services organisations.

Traineeship requirements

Before starting this course, students must be employed in this vocation and meet the relevant entry requirements.

Traineeship eligibility and conditions may vary per employer and traineeship.

Course delivery and duration

The 12-month program is delivered in shorter, more manageable terms of learning.

After a program orientation session, participants will engage in online group workshops and tutorials, online activities, and have access to on-demand support as required.

Mentoring and support

We support businesses in various industries by guiding trainees through their learning journey.

Our program offers trainees the chance to work with professionals from our network of approved Apprenticeship Network Providers and from the guidance of our team.

We conduct workplace visits to ensure they get the support they need.

Course structure

CHC32015 – Certificate III in Community Services is a nationally recognised qualification. Students will need to complete 12 Units of Competency, including:
